The East Anglia Scotch Pine is native to Europe. Growers favor this tree because it grows well in almost all climates, has excellent needle retention, is a harder wood.

Uses
East Anglia Scotch Pines are used for Christmas trees, screening, erosion control, and windbreak. Because of its color, the wood turned into furniture.

Wildlife Value
This tree does not provide food of any kind to wildlife, however, it offers shelter and nesting for birds.

History & Lore
The East Anglia Scotch Pine is natively found in East Anglia in the largest forested area of East Anglia, the Thetford Forest. This area was the home of many Scotch Pines and used for much of the timber after World War I.
